We are not fans of big box stores. However, the Walmart Supercenter is located 5 minutes from the house. NWA is the world wide headquarters so expect to see, and shop at, numerous Walmart locations. Walmart experiments with new shopping experiences and food products so expect a more 'upscale' Walmart experience. The Walmart near the house has an enormous beer, wine, and liquor store, as well as offers tuna, salmon, and exotic cheeses. There are local grocery stores in Bella Vista along the Route 71 corridor, along with a variety of stores and fast food restaurants.

For alcohol, you are in luck on Sunday's (blue light laws in Arkansas) as only 3 minutes from Missouri.

Dining

Bella Vista is not known for cuisine, but it is changing. Bella's Table opened in April 2024 - best cuisine in Bella Vista. Ratings and reviews are misleading, and can be harmful to your health (aka unhealthy food). Patrons of Bella Vista, and Bentonville, rate places that have high volumes of food, that is marginal in taste, and bad for your health. Reviewers seem to place a premium on glutinous volumes of cheap food. Papa Mikes in Bella Vista, for example, is rated 4.4 to 4.6 stars. We would rate this restaurant a one star - on a good day.

We only recommend one establishment for breakfast, two for lunch (Bubbas is ok barbecue, top feature is very close by), and one for dinner in Bella Vista. Bentonville has some fine establishments with excellent cuisine, a variety of ethnic foods (sushi, Indian etc.), and pleasing ambiance. Bella Vista does have a profuse selection of fast food offers from Subway to Sonic (located along Route 71) which are about 15 minutes from the Airbnb. Order ahead at Bubbas as there is only a drive thru which is agonizingly slow. Bubbas has random hours; closes when the run out of food for day.
